WBP SI Selection Process
The candidates need to pass several phases of the selection process before getting selected for the available vacancies. All these phases are held on a pre-scheduled date and time. Have a look at these:
- Preliminary Exam: Candidates will take a preliminary exam including general studies, arithmetic, and logical and analytical reasoning. This phase is a screening test for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and contains a total of 200 marks.

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Selected candidates will be invited to the PET, which will be held at several sites around West Bengal, after completing the PMT.
- Last Exam of the Combined Competitiveness: Three exams make up this phase: Paper I is about general studies and math; Paper II is about the English language test; and Paper III is about the language test in Bengali, Urdu, Nepali, and Hindi.
