PM Kisan e-KYC has been made compulsory for all eligible beneficiaries and the farmers availing of benefits from the PM Kisan Yojana. If you were getting the designated amount through this scheme, you’ll now need to do e-KYC then only you can get the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi amount in your account.

PM Kisan KYC Methods
PM Kisan installments would be instantly deposited into the farmers’ Aadhaar-enabled bank accounts upon completion of the KYC procedure. Three new ways have been introduced by the Central Government to help farmers finish their KYC for the PM-Kisan scheme:
OTP Based e-KYC
- Go to the PM-Kisan website.
- Navigate to the ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on the ‘e-KYC’ icon.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click ‘Search’.
- Enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card and click ‘Get OTP’.
- You will receive an OTP on the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card. Enter the OTP to complete your e-KYC.
Biometric Based e-KYC
- Visit your nearest Common Services Centre (CSC) or State Seva Kendra (SSK). To find the nearest center, use the CSC Finder portal.
- Inform a CSC/SSK operator that you need biometric authentication.
- Provide your Aadhaar card and mobile number to the CSC/SSK operator.
- Follow the CSC/SSK operator’s instructions to complete the e-KYC process.
Face Authentication Based e-KYC
- Download and install the PM-Kisan mobile app and the Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the PM-Kisan app and log in using your registered mobile number.
- Go to the beneficiary status page and check your e-KYC status.
- If the status shows ‘No,’ click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and give consent for a face scan.
- Complete the face scan to finish the e-KYC process.
How to Update PM-Kisan e-KYC Online?
Here are the simple steps to update the PM Kisan e-KYC:
- Step 1: Visit the official PM-Kisan website.
- Step 2: On the home page, go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section, where you will see various options.
- Step 3: Click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.
- Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar card number and click on ‘Search’.
- Step 5: Enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card and click on ‘Get Mobile OTP’.
- Step 6: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on ‘Submit OTP’.
- Step 7: Click on ‘Get Aadhaar OTP’, enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, check the ‘Consent Given’ box, and click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 8: You will see a confirmation on the screen indicating that your e-KYC has been completed.

There’s no need for any specific documents to complete the PM e-KYC. All you need to have the following to get your e-KYC done with super ease:
- Aadhar Card
- Aadhar Authenticated Mobile Number
e-KYC PM Kisan Application Last Date
- The PM-Kisan scheme’s KYC procedure is still in progress.
- For every payment, the Central Government establishes a deadline for finishing e-KYC.
- The farmer will not get that installment if e-KYC is not finished by the deadline.
- To be eligible for the installment, e-KYC must be finished by the deadline.
- Farmers who miss the deadline can still complete the e-KYC for the subsequent installment to continue receiving the next payments.
