Guidelines for Scanning the Photograph & Signature to Apply
Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below:
- Photograph must be recent passport size
- Straight look at the camera with relaxed face.
- Photo must be taken on a sunny day.
- No reflections shown on glasses while wearing.
- Cap, hat, dark glasses are not acceptable.
- File size must not be greater than 20kb.
Application Process and Fees
- Step 1: Log into the official website— https://updeled.gov.in/.
- Step 2: Opt for the “Registration” option.
- Step 3: Fill in the required details and you’ll receive a mobile OTP for confirmation.
- Step 4: After registration is done, fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
- Step 5: Scan and upload all the required documents.
- Step 6: Cross-check the information entered and pay the application fee.
- Step 7: Take multiple printouts of the filled application and submit it.
